Hi All

My Name is Nishant, I am from India. I am 28 yrs unmarried guy. And the past 17 yrs I am suffering from paruresis. It ruined my life, I have lost my love, my family, my friend circle because of this. And I feel like I cannot survive any more. I cannot urinate except my home. Please anyone can help me to recover from this mental decease. And I am new and I dont know how to use or manage this account. And also I am not good in English language.

Did anyone reach out to you?
You posted in a sub-forum that isn't normally viewed, and it's possible nobody has seen your post.

I would suggest posting again, up in the sub-forum labeled "Talk About It".

I felt a lot of the same things you mentioned.
I didn't recover till I was 55 years old BECAUSE I didn't discover this website till I was 51 years old.

You CAN live, survive and enjoy your life while suffering from this medical issue. It's possible, I did, and so have a LOT of other lifelong paruretics.

You CAN recover or at least reduce your symptoms and have more freedom to live the life you want to lead.

There IS hope.
There IS a way to live with this AND have total freedom...learn self-catheterization.

Anyplace, anytime. Catheter goes in, urine comes out.
Bada bing, bada boom. Go where you want, do what you want, live the life that you want.

If you pursue recovery also, things just become that much more convenient.

I was born with a (physically) naturally hesitant bladder.
My paruresis caused my natural hesitation to become severe and I was generally unable to pee...except at home alone, and after more hesitation than the average person experiences.

Now recovered, my tag line is that I CAN pee, because it's OKAY if I can't.
Yes, I'm older and at the end of my life.

But you've found this place while you're still young.
Both your survival options and your recovery options mean you CAN improve your current situation.

Please post in the "Talk About It" sub-forum, so that others see your posts.
